No, states with practical experiences from the mine warfare during WWII has generally a better understanding of the threat and the required countermeasures than other countries. In this context it is also interesting to note that the know-how of underwater signatures is slowly moving away from the Naval authorities towards shipyards and companies in the defence sector. |
