Polyamp AB söker nu en Systemingenjör och en Projektledare till Systems Division i Sollentuna. Polyamp kan tänka sig två personer med en blandning av nedanstående arbetskompetenser. Med tanke på tjänsternas karaktär är det ett krav att vara svensk medborgare. Ansökan skall vara skriven på svenska.

Polyamps marinmilitära division skapar fartygs- och sensorsystem för minimering och kontroll av militära fartygs utstrålade elektromagnetiska signaturer under vattnet. Teknikområdet syftar till att fartyg och ubåtar skall kunna röra sig i sitt operationsområde och med hjälp av våra system undgå upptäckt av spanings- och vapensystem placerade under vattnet.

Systemdesign och projektledning sker i Sollentuna och produktion av delsystem och komponenter sker från vår enhet i Åtvidaberg, där vi även tillverkar och säljer strömförsörningsenheter och tillverkar främst DC/DC omvandlare.

Vi marknadsför oss just nu i Europa, USA, Indien, Sydostasien och Sydamerika där vi har befintliga och framtida projekt, vilket innebär några resor per år beroende på fasen i de olika projekten.

The EST© MKII

est-ii-systemPolyamp Electric Sensor Training System EST© is used to acquire knowledge about UEP/ELFE signatures in a basin environment for research or educational purposes.
We have now added the possibility to make field measurements with up to 300 m cable, with depth rating 100 m. The EST© MKII is already proven for International use.

We have also significantly improved the system performance by:

  • • Increased frequency range for the Electric sensors; now user selectable up to 3 kHz
  • • Modern Ethernet TCP/IP data output instead of USB output
  • • The EST© standard software has improved real time data viewer with record and playback , FFT analysis and many more features

Unique Degaussing System Feature

  

The world first Deagussing system with a semi automatic organic back-up system onboard a frigate type vessel was tested successfully during the Sea Acceptance Test (SAT) on the new Iver Huitfeldt class frigate of the Royal Danish Navy.

 

Thanks to the unique Polyamp ADG design and excellent cooperation with the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), the RDN now possess what is believed be the first ADG systems with a semi automatic organic back-up system onboard a frigate type vessel.

This is a full hardware back-up system for the ADG to be used in case of, for example battle-damages and it goes far beyond previously tried software back-up solutions. The ADG system is highly reliable but in the rare case where a power module should go out of order, the switch to a spare power module takes only a few seconds and the ships underwater signature is virtually unchanged. The new concept gives a Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) for the Degaussing System of typically less than 10 seconds and this is a record that will be hard to beat.  

Polyamp has in fact, as a part of the same development concept, supplied a similar Backup system, with an ever higher level of automation for another, and smaller, RDN ships class.

That the successful design now has been demonstrated at the signature trials is the result of a long and fruitful cooperation between Polyamp and DALO that goes back as far as year 2003 when Polyamp took full magnetic signature responsibility for the Absalon class. The latest contract is however dated in July 2007 and it includes the delivery of ADG systems, including back-up functionality, for the three Iver Huitfeldt class frigates.
The ADG SAT was performed as a part of the underwater signature procedure performed at the Swedish Sea Range Station in Lysekil on the new frigate HDMS Peter Willemoes  That the RDN performs important Sea Acceptance Trials in Sweden is in itself a proof of the RDN confidence in the underwater signature know-how in Sweden where Polyamp is acknowledged and respected in the underwater signature control area.   Polyamp Sweden Vice President Per Ennerfors: “This SAT demonstrates our capability in technology edged ADG systems deliveries while maintain the highest possible level of product technology as well as quality. We are proud of the excellent result and the very good and most creative relation with DALO and the Royal Danish Navy.”

CVN 77 Deperming process in record time

ussgeorgehwbush121In beginning of Mars 2012 the CVN77 set new record in Deperming. Polyamp feels that our system was an important factor to achieve this record.
Polyamp supplied mid 2008 a Degaussing system to the CVN77 carrier. It is the largest Degaussing system Polyamp has ever designed and delivered with 360 kW installed power. The 10 January 2009 it sailed out from the shipyard Newport News Shipbuilding, Virginia to start commisioning test.

Press Release - RMN FAT at Polyamp

STOCKHOLM, October 13th 2016 – Polyamp AB, System Division / HQ, located at Tingsvägen 19 in Sollentuna outside Stockholm has successfully performed a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to the Royal Malaysian Navy for delivery of 2 Advanced Degaussing System controllers. The FAT was honoured by presence of the Malaysian Ambassadors to Sweden, Mme Puan Roslina.

After successfully deliverance of two Advance Degaussing Systems for the Royal Malaysian Navy LCS Programme earlier this year it was time for Factory Acceptance Test for two other system deliveries. The Malaysian delegation of key personnel of the Programme inspected Polyamp´s Advanced Degaussing Systems factory in Åtvidaberg some 200 km South of Stockholm, the facilities consist of several unique workstations for Degaussing production as well as offices, test facilities, showrooms and a training centre.

Advanced Degaussing Order Award

The contract ‘letter of award’ LOA for the Advanced Degaussing Systems for the Royal Malaysian Navy´s new Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) programme was granted to Polyamp AB, Sweden, the 15th April 2013 by Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn. Bhd. for an undisclosed order sum. The order will be delivered by Polyamp in Sweden while made in cooperation with Malaysian Defense Industry; Dayatech Merine SDN BHD which are Polyamp local partner company in Malaysia. In the order is also included technical management, training and initial spare parts. Polyamp will utilize its successful ADG systems and ADG parts previous delivered for USN CVN77 Carrier, San Antonio Class LPDs, Royal Danish Navy Absalon Class Flexible Support ships, Peter Willemoe Frigate Class and the Royal Swedish Navy Visby Class.

Contract task commence immediately, consequently the Kick-off meeting was held at Boustead Naval Shipyard Head Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia the 11th-12th May 2013.
